Nothing exciting to report in the realm of farmy-ness.

I had a nice dinner with the girls last night and we had the most amazing chicken pastry w/brie cheese, tortellini southwest chowder with an amazing salsa/milk base, a fantastic bacon & chicken cesar salad, and then I brought tiramisu w/strawberries and cafe frappe for a drink. I have had my caloric intake for the week!!

I have lost 10lbs since I started back on the diet thing and got back down under 300 for the first time in a year. Hurray! I feel like my life is getting back in order.

Between last night at midnight and today at about 3pm, my book expanded from 86,000 words to 93,000 words. Huzzah! I am about one chapter and an epilogue away from finishing the book, and it's terribly exciting. I am starting to draft a query letter for agents. It's moving a lot faster than I had anticipated. I really hope it sells... I have about two weeks before I have to get back to the real world and start sending out resumes. Gross.

I did the chores by myself in the dark tonight and was only slightly antsy because of watching 30 Days of Night last night @ the girls' place. I hurried as fast as I could but had to strip one of our does that had two kids on Friday but lost them both... I milked 6 cups out of her, my hands are crazy sore and cramped up! I am now going to go partake in my favorite Monday night sitcoms.

As a sidenote, here is Miss B on her second ever saddle wearing escapade. She is finally beginning to figure out where her straight stall is and dives into her foods with a vengeance. I hope to be riding her very very soon!
